This is public charter school located in Stansbury Park, Utah, that will educate around 700 students annually from kindergarten to 8th grade. The site is comprised of five acres and consists of a 29,300-square foot main floor building, a 115-stall parking lot, and landscaped play areas. Proterra engineered the site grading and drainage plan, surface improvements, and underground pipe lines. Balancing the earthwork and grading was a challenge because of the flat site and high groundwater conditions.

The largest Volvo/Mack truck dealership in the intermountain west is located at 7000 West and SR 201, West Valley City. The site is comprised of 15 acres and consists of a 65,000-square foot main floor building, a seven-acre parking lot, and open landscaped areas. Proterra engineered the site grading and drainage plan, surface improvements, and underground pipe lines. The greatest design challenge was the drainage plan for the seven-acre parking lot.

This multi-family community is located at 13400 South 5200 West, Herriman City. The community is comprised of 232 townhome units (52 buildings & clubhouse) on a 12-acre site. The fundamental infrastructure was designed by Proterra. The greatest challenge was the grading and drainage due to the high density.

This residential subdivision is located at 4000 West 10800 South, South Jordan City. It consists of 337 single family lots and a church lot and is comprised of 75 acres. Proterra prepared the engineering drawings for the project and designed the roadway surface improvements, underground pipelines, grading and drainage plans, horizontal and vertical alignments, signage and striping, and storm water pollution prevention.

This single-family community is located at 6000 North 700 West, Stansbury Park. It consists of 200 single family lots and is comprised of 80 acres. Proterra prepared the engineering drawings for the project and designed the roadway surface improvements, underground pipelines, grading and drainage plans, horizontal and vertical alignments, signage and striping, and storm water pollution prevention. The flat land and high ground water were a couple of the design challenges of this project.

This academic institution is located in the City of Orem. The site is comprised of 3.3 acres and consists of a 20,500-square foot main floor building, a 142-stall parking lot, and landscaped areas. Proterra engineered the site grading and drainage plan, surface improvements, and underground pipe lines. The design included significant site grading and retaining walls along with typical infrastructure design.

The apartment complex is a multi-family residential project that was funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The project is located at 6400 West and New Bingham Highway, West Jordan City. It consists of 278 apartments units (18 buildings, 5 garages buildings, clubhouse, and pool) and is comprised of 18 acres. Proterra prepared engineering drawings and design for the project’s infrastructure. The design work included procuring a highway access permit from the Utah Department of Transportation. Moisture sensitive soils were one of the project’s biggest challenges and were addressed by the grading and drainage plan.
